About

The primary aim of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) club is the development of agricultural leadership, cooperation, and citizenship. The specific purposes for which this organization was formed are as follows:

• To develop competent, aggressive, rural, and agricultural leadership.

• To create and maintain a love of country life.

• To strengthen the confidence of farm youths in themselves and in their work.

• To create more interest toward intelligent choices in farming occupations.

• To encourage members to develop individual farming programs and established farming.

• To encourage members to improve the farm home and its surroundings.

• To participate in worthy undertakings for the improvement of agriculture.

• To develop character, train for use of citizenship, and foster patriotism.

• To participate in cooperative efforts.

• To encourage improvement in scholarship.

• To provide and encourage the development of organized rural recreational activities.

Membership in FFA is encouraged upon entering vocational agriculture courses.
